ATLANTICO is a privately-held Bank with headquarters in Luanda. Founded in November 2006, with a strong commitment to the development of the Angolan economy, the Bank is currently present in all 18 districts of Angola and serves individual, corporate and institutional clients.

Established in 2009, ATLANTICO Europa was the first step of ATLANTICO’s internationalization. ATLANTICO Europa is a European bank, based in Lisbon, regulated by Banco de Portugal and CMVM. As part of its global strategy, ATLANTICO opened the first international branch in Namibia at the end of 2015, and it is presently expanding its activity to Mozambique.

Banco Privado ATLANTICO is established in Luanda, Angola.

Growth of the ATLANTICO branch network in Luanda.
2008

Launch of LOGOS, ATLANTICO’s first social responsibility project, committed to the development of the next generations of Angolans. LOGOS is based on psycho-pedagogical programs, covering sports, social and cultural activities.
2009

Launch of Banco Privado ATLANTICO Europa, headquartered in Lisbon, Portugal.

Opening of the first branch outside of Luanda, in Benguela.
2010

Corporate rebranding, aiming to reinforce the core values of ATLANTICO and its ambition to be a multi-geographical and multi-cultural financial institution.
2011

Continuous growth of ATLANTICO branch network, currently covering the 18 districts of Angola.
